Jena Louisiana Fall Festival Nov 15th 2008

Just a quick note real busy today!! I will be doing henna at the Jena Louisiana Fall Festival on Nov 15th 2008.

And yes I will get the pictures up this week from the Olla Festival - Home Coming, sorry been a busy week!

Olla Louisiana Homecoming ! Oct 18th 2008

Well I stopped by the Comunity Center to get in the big festival in Olla in Nov and they told me about the HomeComing Festival on saturday. 

So its last minute but I got my form and I will be in Olla this Saturday from 10am till I believe they said it ends at midnight.  So if you did not get to get your henna at the arts festival you can come to Olla and get one... or two.

La Arts Festival review

WOW  I was so busy I only got to take a few pictures I never ever expected to be that busy!  

I got a lot of "looks" when I was setting up and I over heard someone  while they were setting up saying something nasty about it not being an art, so I was not off to a good start but in 15 minutes I had my first henna at 9:15  then I had about 5 to 10 minutes of nothing then for the entire day it was non stop.  I had lines for henna.  I was totally surprized.  Next year I will have to get a canopy I think I was the only vendor there with out one and it looked funny.  There were some very freindly vendors 2 spaces down from me, they came over and talked to me a few times they were from Monroe and have a store called the  Basket Case.  They had the coolest Hello Kitty balloon but I got to busy and couldn't get over there to get it for my daughter but they came over and gave us a discount coupon so we could get one another time at there store.   

And that is all I can tell you about the Festival cause I did not even get a chance to walk out of my space and see anything!

New Henna Pictures & Louisiana Art Festival

Added a couple new pictures of Henna to the website today. Look for more in a few days!!

After the Louisiana Art & Folk Festival I will have lots more pictures to add.

Lousiana Art & Folk Festival Update

Just an update on the Arts Festival, I did know the exact location so here it is...    downtown Columbia, Louisiana on the 100 block of Main street.   the hours are from 9 am till 5 pm on saturday Oct. 11th.

I do not know yet where I will be set up at as they have sections, if I find out before saturday I will post that information.
